This week we started to do collages.

We had a choice to make one of landscapes or people. the first step of the activity we had to rip small pecies of colloured paper. then we had to plan a collage art and how we would set it out. It was cool to see lots of different people with lots of different ideas for their art. I , myself did Bob the Builder and then I chose what colours I needed. I ended up usuing the colours yellow, blue, skin colour, light blue, orange and white. It was really fun doing collages and I hope we do it again sometime.

The Twits

The Twits
The Twits are a married couple that play nasty tricks on each other.
the first trick that is played is by Mrs Twit who places her glass eye in the bottom of Mr Twits beer.
so to get Mrs Twit back Mr Twit places a big fat frog in Mrs Twits bed while Mrs Twit is in the bathroom. The fat frog slithers up her legs while Mrs Twit prances out her bed and that night sleeps on the couch. The next day when Mrs Twit serves Mr Twits Lunch she sneaks some worms in the spaggetti she had caught in the garden that very day. To get Mrs Twit back Mr Twit adds a small block to her walking stick each night in the morning Mrs Twit realizes she was getting smaller and Mr Twit said it was a diesease that she had the shrieks and would have to get stretched in the next week to cure it.

We have only read 1/4 of the book so we will keep you in touch of what is happening in the book.

The Twits is a book about Mr and Mrs Twit who play tricks on each other and the tricks are very mean and nasty, like Mrs Twit started it by putting her glass eye in Mr Twits beer. Mr Twit got her back by putting a frog in Mrs Twits bed.Then Mrs Twit put worms in Mr Twits spaghetti so Mr Twit paid her back by making her walking stick longer. And there's more to the story to read next week with Mr Atherton.

Some people were more excited than others to be at school.

The Guard Dog

Everything was silent in the household of the Ryan-Mcginnesses and then a tremour struckand everything shifted from left to right.I heard my dog howl and the windows shattering.I heard my dog pounce up the stairs to my mum and dad. Her next stop-off was in the lounge where my brother would be watching TV.She then would come down to my room and jump on my bed and make sure I was still alive she then would growl at the gas can that would shatter againest the bricks and the stones that would flicker againest the walls. I hit my alarm as a "beeb beeb" went off , it was 9:59but I did'nt care and went back to sleep.
